Oil and Gas well
Most people argue that oil and gas wells produce crude oil and pure gas. Whereas actual gas wells produce a fluid whose content is a mixture of hydrocarbon gas, oil, water, large quantities of salt; other gases such as carbon dioxide (CO2) or hydrogen sulfide (H2S) that highly toxic and lethal. Oil and gas wells also produce solids, such as sand from underground / reservoirs, dirt, and corrosion products from tubing. In the Upstream oil and gas business, oil and gas processing companies work to separate the fluids with solids, remove dirt and other unused substances to produce crude oil or gas ready for sale. Ready-made crude oil has limits to the maximum limits of water, salt, and other impurities.
Oil companies such as Chevron or Exxon built field oil facilities used to process or separate produced fluids into crude oil and gas. Oilfield facilities differ from refineries or chemical plants in several ways. This process is simpler in a facility, which does not consist of chemical reactions to create new molecules, but from separation, temperature changes or pressure changes.

Most of the oil fields produce water and solids that can not be exploited so that the substance must be removed. the oil company builds a water treating plant to clean the water produced. systems in the water treating plant include removal of dissolved and dissolved hydrocarbons. the oil companies also built supporting facilities such as power plants or steam facilities used for the EOR process. some oil companies also built surfactant facilities for the EOR process.
